YOUR MENTOR IN EXPORT

In compliance with the conditions set in international trade agreements, businesses can receive preferential origin certificates, affirming the origin of goods, and benefit from tax relief by obtaining EUR.1 and EUR-MED certificates.

EUR.1 certificates and EUR-MED certificates are validated and issued by the Customs Administration of the State Revenue Service. Certificates can be processed for both current exports (before filing the export declaration) and retrospectively (after the export declaration has been processed and the goods have left the country). Retrospective certificates can be processed for almost two years after the export has occurred.

Certificates can be obtained for the export of goods to the following countries, groups of countries, or territories:

  • Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda

  • Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana

  • Cameroon, Ceuta, Chile, Colombia, Comoros Islands, Costa Rica

  • Dominica, Dominican Republic

  • Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Eswatini

NOTE!

  • To facilitate the export of products to the mentioned countries, obtaining the Authorized Exporter (AE) status is possible. This allows preparing EUR.1 as an Origin Declaration on the invoice. In simple terms, it is an "automated EUR.1 certificate."

  • EUR.1 and EUR-MED certificates can be processed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

  • EUR.1 and EUR-MED are preferential origin certificates.
